This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is said to have been owned by a friend of the seller’s for 40 years, and then the seller acquired it in 2020. The car was refinished in blue and fitted with a 427ci V8 before the seller’s acquisition, and work in 2025 involved rebuilding the engine, installing a five-speed manual transmission, overhauling the suspension, and adding air conditioning and an aftermarket stereo. Additional features include a Positraction differential, 15″ Turbine-style aluminum knock-off wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a side-exit exhaust system, power steering, a Hurst shifter, and retractable headlights.The fiberglass body was refinished in blue in the late 1990s, and paint protection film has been added to the front end, behind the front wheels, and in front of and behind the rear wheels. Classic Chambered Exhaust side pipes are concealed under factory-style covers. LED headlights with Bosch glass lenses are also fitted.Aftermarket 15″ Turbine-style aluminum wheels feature knock-off spinners and are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich tires. Suspension modifications under current ownership involved installing a monoleaf spring and Bilstein shocks out back and polyurethane control arm bushings, replacement shocks and springs, and a front QA1 sway bar. The car is equipped with power steering, and the assist cylinder, pump, and lines were replaced in 2025.
