Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is said to have been refurbished between 2005 and 2015 and is refinished in blue over blue vinyl upholstery. The car is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a black convertible soft top, a Positraction differential, 15″ Turbine-style aluminum wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust, a cabin heater, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights.The fiberglass body was finished at the factory in Trophy Blue (980) and was refinished during the aforementioned refurbishment. Side-exit exhaust pipes were added, and additional features include a black convertible soft top, flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, and a retractable antenna.The 15″ Turbine-style aluminum wheels feature knock-off spinners and are mounted with 205/75 General tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in blue vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 20k miles and has rolled over, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.The 327ci V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque and is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor.The engine stamping is shown above.
